Up until just a few years ago, there was still an overabundance of immigrant workers coming into the big cities from the interior for manufacturers to choose from. Migrant workers, who came from remote locations and could barely support their own lives let alone a family, flooded the new “gold coast” in the surrounding areas of Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou.

Hello Xtatix Maniacs! It’s been a while since I’ve dared to write anything, but I think the time has come. Xtatix has been doing a lot behind the scenes since last fall and it’s time to give some info about what we’ve been up to. We had a good time presenting at the Digital Life show in NYC for the second time. Released a ton of new products. Started working with Newegg.com and Provantage.com, two of the internets best online retailers. We also managed to grow our sales and put our products into the hands of an even wider audience!
The most significant development since last fall is definitely the broader product line. We’ve introduced a series of small and portable products which have the prefix ‘Porta’. The Porta series includes:
1. PortaDrive
2. PortaMedia
3. PortaHub
4. PortaTuner
5. PortaClik
And some other lines outside of the Porta series includes:
1. Mega Mouse
2. Pocket Candy Zest
You can find out about all these new cool products in the product section of Xtatix.com! Hope you like them and let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions!

Laser mice are the evolution in mouse technology. 10 years ago the roller ball was the hottest rage, then came the optical red light sensation, tomorrow you’ll see people using laser guided mice like the Xtatix Placid. I feel it’s the right mouse for graphic design professionals, gamers, and those who dive into the newest technology.
The USB connection is a nice convenience for laptop users like me. We’re bringing you Xtatix products that combine the right features with great design. The Placid has a sleek curved design that is comfortable and natural feeling.

I don’t really think about using a mouse, I just do it. I don’t really want to think about it too much either. The Xtatix Mega Mouse is your ideal blue-collar get-the-job-done-well piece of machinery.
The unit offers all I need for business and personal computing. I got the comfortable 3-buttons and scroll-wheel I’d expect from any well designed mouse. The scroll wheel is precise and well made. Basically I couldn’t ask anything more for a 9-5 computer user who enjoys reliability and simplicity.

For me the Portaclik is all about convenience. This mouse is tiny; like fits-behind-your-ear tiny. Carrying it around with my laptop is convenient and it is much nicer than using the touch pad. The coolest feature is being able to store the USB receiver in the actual mouse, so convenient! On top of this the mouse automatically shuts off when the receiver is inserted, so that I don’t have to worry about draining my batteries. This is convenience – this is Xtatix after all.
The Portaclik requires no drivers to use with most computers (WinXP or Mac OS10.1.2), so it’s just simple plug n’ play like all of the Xtatix products.
It’s the perfect piece of equipment and for the laptop user on the go it doesn’t get much better.

I love the reliability and speed of The Xtatix Xtender 7-port USB hub. The dimensions of this unit are more practical than any other 7-Port Hub I’ve seen available. I certainly know that it’s the one I’m happiest with.
The 2A electric current in this unit is ultra stable and ensures that all the appliances work to their fullest capabilities. Notice how many other USB Hubs use 1A power which is doesn’t provide enough power for full usage.
I’ve happily tested this unit for the past 2 months daily using the following:
1. Xtatix PortaDrive 2.5” hard disk case
2. Xtatix Sound Temple 7.1 Surround Speaker Headset
3. Charging (and formatting) my Freefone
4. Reading cards from my Xtatix Mobile Media Mate
5. The Xtatix Placid laser mouse
6. The Printer
7. Occasionally other devices

MMMMemories… memories are easier to capture, share, and enjoy than ever before. Digital photos have revolutionized everything from the way our memories are captured to how we do business. Now the way we look have been revolutionized too.
The DiVi is a futuristic slide projector and VCR. Remember the huge boxy slide projector and VCR? Now a tiny box plays digital photos and videos from digital memory cards. The Divi has a wireless remote and can also hook up with a computer.
The DiVi can be used in business presentations by connecting it to a projector or monitor, in the living room playing through the TV or in the bedroom to watch movies downloaded onto a memory card.
The DiVi is ultra portable, ultra media-rich, and a useful product to have around the house or office.

I’ve had a growing number of USB applications surrounding my computer. The number of devices using memory cards is also growing. It made more sense to get a combo USB hub and all-in-one card reader/writer. There are a few models out there, but the M*3 has a sturdy metal casing and the rounded edges make it really easy to pocket and take around.
Of course the USB interface is 2.0 because we need quick transfer speed. Another benefit of this unit is that it can be powered by an external power AC adapter to fully serve all your USB tools.
Great product with tons of functionality, a great look, and the right fit for today’s Xtatix Customer.

What the Saturn is to cars, the Pocket Candy is to MP3 players. This sexy feature filled product is a one size fits all MP3 player suitable for school, work, recreation, travel, etc… The Pocket Candy combines all the popular functions like digital FM radio receiver, radio recorder, voice recorder, USB 2.0 (for high speed transfers), long battery life and a stylish look all within one of the most reasonably priced MP3 players on the market.
As for longevity, I think the Pocket Candy line will be around for a while because it’s a customer favorite.
